My Best Friend in High School
I'm a student of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. I have a best friend here in high school whose name is Justina Ajiboye, a Yoruba girl from Kwara state Nigeria, though we are four that are friends, but I'm closer to Justina that's why I call my best friend. We were in 100 level second semester when we became close friends and then in 200 level we became best of friends. She inspires me a lot, a genius, she's disciplined, very sincere and always keep to here words, she just know what to say at the right time, her words of encouragement are top notch. She can also be annoying sometimes. She's so much fun to be with, always calling me an Igbo girl and a foodie which I am not. Being the Yoruba girl that she is, she loves her local meal which is Amala and ewedu, and enjoy other meals so much like semo and vegetable or egusi soup. She is a great cook. We are still best friends, we bond so well, so much so that when we get on each other's nerves, we overlook it and never angry at each other for long. We've actually come a long way academically and socially, my gist partner for sure. We go to church together, go out together, we almost have the same friends. We've come through for each other in different trying times- what are friends for. I remember when I lost my smart phone and was using a small torchlight phone, and I wasn't able to be online to get informations on the class group about so many things like venue for a test, time for a test and so on, she always call to keep me informed until I got another phone. I can say she's part of my destined friends or destined relationships. I'm proud we are friends. Thank you to everyone who took out time to read my entry. I wish you a blissful day ahead.
We met in the class on a faithful, while preparing for a test. We stayed in the same hostel and started going to class together and reading together. In 200 level we practically stayed in the same room and cooked together.
She lost her phone also and just like she came through for me that period, I also came through for her until she got another phone.
We've learnt a lot from each other and have shared things together
When we leave this school, we will keep in touch that I know and have a girl trip to the Maldives together with our two other friends.
Our friendship in school is worth it
