UNFORGETTABLE ITALY #24 : Remembering all the friends I made when I visited Italy back in 2009!!!

It was a dream come true when I learnt that I was selected to spend a full month in Rome for some cross exposure between the hotel I was working and that of the Hilton Rome Cavalieri!

During that one month, I really visited a real lot of amazing places around Rome! Last time I wrote about visiting The Vatican City and today I want to honor all the awesome Italians I've met when I was there...

These people helped me a lot - both at work and outside work making me discover their country much more!

Italian Chefs are the best!

For me the Italian chefs among the best chefs I've met during my career...they are chefs that respect their culture and always cooking to their best of their abilities...no compromise on culture! Big respect for that!

From the first day itself, they were so welcoming and showed me around their immense kitchen. They did not hesitate to offer my assistance as they knew I was in Italy for the first time ever...

Italians Love Football - No doubt about that!

Every time we had Roma Or Lazio playing a football match...the atmosphere at the workplace was magical...

Radio was set to the highest volume and everyone was cheering whenever a goal was scored! This was something amazing for me...living it live with the Italians!

Needless to say...during break time, they all loved to play baby-foot!

I tried playing with them...but man, they were just too good!!!

Football is like a religion in Italy and I've witnessed it...well well...That's why they are the Champions!!!

After work...

I made so many friends during my short period of time in Italy...and everyday after work...it was party time!

Everyday there was someone who accompanied me and brought me to places I wanted to visit...

Thanks to these awesome friends, I managed to visit places I never knew existed...These will always stay as a sweet memories from a country that I love a lot!

With their help, I got to see the Colosseum, The Vatican City, the Rome Metro, and even tried some nice Italian stuff - if you know what I mean!!!

I just hope I can visit Italy once again...for this we will have to wait for this Covid19 thing to get over!

But anyway...I will definitely visit it! As I want to meet up with my good old friends once again!

There was a function at the hotel that day, it was all about sports cars...and I was lucky to sneak in and take some photos!
