TOMATOES : Amazing gift of Nature!
While looking at some past photos I took some months back, I was so happy discovering these tomatoes shots...
I still remember I got these tomatoes from my brother in law, who is a professional in cultivating tomatoes, fine herbs and lettuces! Each time I go to his place, I always come back with bags full of wonderful fresh produce!
Being a chef and getting such beautiful and fresh tomatoes to use is simply amazing...
Each variety is used in different dishes...some are eaten raw...some marinated and others are great for cooking!
I remember I made a lovely dessert with the yellow ones...these are sooo sweet...simply delicious!
In Mauritian cuisine, tomatoes are such an important ingredient in so many dishes... we actually use a variety that we call pomme d'amour which resembles quite a lot to Roma tomatoes!

Nothing better than a good salad with enough tomato. These in particular, those in the photo, look amazingly fresh.

I love tomatoes so much.
My mother tells me that when she was pregnant with me,
she had a massive craving for tomatoes, and after I was born,
before I learnt how to walk, I would crawl over to the fridge,
and steal tomatoes :-) (don't judge me)
I am impressed by the colors and shapes of these tomatoes. I am from venezuela. There is not much variety here, they are only round and red but I like the variety of tomatoes here, they look so fresh to prepare a salad.
Variety of tomatoes here, I always thought that only the tomatoes were red or maybe a little green when they are not ripe or they were just the same way and I see that these tomatoes are not very fresh and beautiful colors and shapes
Having a professional growing tomatoes, herbs and lettuce in the family!? LUCKY YOU!!! I love to eat tomatoes in tomato sauce for spaghetti and in tomato soup. The most I enjoy the Roma tomatoes. They are the sweetest to me.
I love the tomato it is delicious you can put it almost to any pity that in my country it is so expensive we also only see a single crop of the tomato, we do not see it in varieties like these, I have not seen any of these before, I am reminded colors

I eat lots of fresh tomatoes 🍅 in my freshly made tomato sauce. I love to make my sauce myself, to my taste

I love tomatoes! I have a small patio garden and sure enough I am growing tomatoes in containers. I grow grape and cherry tomatoes. They are the easiest to grow here in containers in the Arizona Heat! I have tried other varieties in containers and usually get huge crops, but then they all seem to wind up with blossom end rot. Have zero problems with blossom end rot with the little tomato varieties. So tasty!
