SEC | S16-W2 : "MY OWN CONTEST TOPIC" - Food Recipe Format we would love seeing in SIC!!!
Greetings of the day everyone!
I hope you are all having a great week!
I am here today for the 2nd week of Season 16 of Steemit Engagement Challenge in the Steemit Iron Chef Community.
As the theme for this week is open, I am seizing this opportunity to showcase a recipe I did yesterday and at the same time show you how I will make the recipe look easy to follow and thanks to collage we can make very interesting food recipe posts in SIC.
And also the use of very simple words and explanation! Make it easy and fun to read!
Most of the time, recipe posts become too long and the reader gets bored going through very long posts, specially for food theme.
It would be great if we could have this type of food recipe post in SIC in the future...
Without losing any more time, let me show you this yummy healthy dish I made with pasta. Hope you like it!
Gluten-free Pasta with Veggies and Coconut Milk!
The main ingredient was the gluten-free pasta and this order was for my sister in law who is on a special diet since couple of weeks now.
Simply cook the pasta in boiling & salted water until desired doneness!
The Veggies I used :
- Romanesco Broccoli / Mixed Colored Carrots / Onion
- Spring Onion / Garlic Paste / Coconut Milk
- Salt / Pepper / Oil
Wash and cut the veggies as you can see in the below photo...
Let's get cooking!
While the pasta is cooking, in a pan sauteed all the vegetables together in olive oil.
Add little garlic paste and season as per your taste.
Pour in the coconut milk and let cook until semi thick!
Once the pasta is cooked, add in the pan and cook together!
And the pasta is ready!!!
I did not use any cheese in here, as the coconut milk was just creamy enough and did not need any cheese in the dish!
Put in a bowl, place a nice basil leaf of top, and BON APETIT!!!
And here we are with the recipe my dearest friends! Not bulky and very clear to follow, isn't it!?
The idea is to give maximum info to our reader with easy wordings and top photos in collage showing the steps made easy.
While keeping the user attentive to the post and wants to discover more!!!
Hope you enjoyed this food recipe format I am proposing and hope to see more users trying it soon!
Let me know your views in the comments section below.
Wish you all a wonderful weekend ahead!
