Hope everyone is doing well from their position I am fine too.Today I am going to participate in a beautiful contest "Your School, College and University Photography Contest". So I would like to first of all sincerely thank the @Steemit Azerbaijan community for organizing such a beautiful competition. Today I am participating in a competition with my college. Let's start the main discussion without wasting your valuable time.
I am Md. Jahid Hasan. I am currently studying B.Sc in Textile Engineering at Bangladesh Handloom Education and Training Institute. For your convenience I would like to inform you that my college was started in 1980 to provide some technical training. Which is managed by Bangladesh Handloom Board 1980.The institute was started as Handicrafts Textiles and Tools Development Centre.
Launched Training Course:
-Block and batik printing
-Weaving and marketing
-Semi automatic weaving
-Jacquard design
-Yarn dyeing
-Cost containment and marketing
-Try and die
-Screen printing
My college 2009 bears the current name. In 2009, HSC (Voc) course was introduced under Bangladesh Technical Education Board and in 2010. Diploma in Textile Engineering course was introduced according to the curriculum of Bangladesh Technical Education Board to produce a batch of skilled technical trained diploma engineers. Where the number of seats for the aspirants is 100 number . B.Sc in Textile Engineering course was launched in 2018 under Bangladesh Textile University. Where two separate departments Wet Process Engineering and Apparel Engineering are running and the number of seats is 40+40=80. It is 5 km away from Narsingdi district town at a place called Sahepratap located.
My college is situated on about 18 bighas of land. There are administrative buildings, residential buildings, separate hostels for men and women and academic buildings.
And this is the administrative building of our college. Which was established in 1980 at the beginning of this institution. All official work is done in this building.
There have and mosque and washroom for the Muslim students and staff in this institution. Though It's have small area but we adjust it and trying to spreed this area.
This is the under construction auditorium of my college which has about 500 seats Probably in just 6 months will get full form. Since then we will organize all kinds of events and various events of various educational institutions. For all the other institution's events except our college work events Rent will be charged.
This is my college shed house. In which there are various machines of weaving. It was established early on Where weavers are still trained. However, some parts of this shed house are abandoned. Which will be made usable very soon.
The six storey academic building under construction of our dream is being built next to it. It will have all the modern facilities There will be rich library, modern laboratory, advanced class rooms etc.
A large pond is located right in front of our new academic building. Where there was once a lot of fish farming. Now fish farming is stopped due to temporary problems But we bathe in this pond occasionally when there is water shortage.
Our accommodation is next to the last part of the pond and the newly built Academic building It is basically a women's hostel. But due to severe housing crisis we have been allowed to stay temporarily.
Just to the west of our residence hall next to the pond are two multi-storied buildings, a staff quarter and an officer's quarter. Where the officers and employees of these institutions live with their families.
Then the most beautiful building currently is for Fashion Design Institute. Here we have class. Due to the shortage of classrooms, we are forced to take classes in the fashion design building. Hopefully we will leave here when our new academic building is completed.
Adjacent to it are halls for fashion design students, halls for diploma engineering students and dormitories. Which is next to our very narrow playground. Although we don't have a playground with enough space, cricket and football competitions are organized on this ground, overcoming this hurdle.
