He suddenly pops up in Hollywood and begins producing these bizarre shows in 1963. The network (ABC) was going nuts trying to get his show OFF the air!You MUST see at least the first part of 'Architects of Fear'. They sorta make a big deal out of showing this gangly little crab nasty that 'lives' in a mysterious plain box. They use the creatures DNA to transform a man into a creature in order to fake an alien invasion. They sorta 'show' a Vrill Type I several times and with keen drama. Keep in mind this was 1963. Closing Narration:"Scarecrows and magic and other fatal fears do not bring people closer together. There is no magic substitute for soft caring and hard work, for self-respect and mutual love. If we can learn this from the mistake these frightened men made, then their mistake will not have been merely grotesque, it would at least have been a lesson.
