" Taco Loco " - Authentic Mexican Restaurant

Few months back, @blind-spot suggested me about this mexican restaurant called Taco Loco and he knows I love mexican food. I also saw his review on tasteem where he wrote about this restaurant and showed some yummy foods . So , I also went there to taste mexican food and now I am going to share my experience with you...

Location :

This is the first authentic restaurant in Kharkov, Ukraine and really hard to find the location. As you can see from the pictures, they don't have proper entrance with the restaurant name. Basically, they did their marketing on social mediaa specially on Instagram.

But this location is quiet famous and interesting. Restaurant is located behind Kharkiv Opera house , very close to shevchenko park and immigration office. I think owner choose this place because of the demand and perfect place for open terrace restaurant. Specially , when there is concert or anything happen , restaurant will be full. Also interesting part is, entire restaurant is established on the back terrace of opera house. So really quiet interesting demanding location....

After climbing the stairs , when you enter into the restaurant you will see , these views. Concept of the entire restaurant is really good , one can come not only for food but also can enjoy the entire environment. Also creating terrace garden with landscape is definitely wise idea. definitely perfect place for photo-shoot.

Environment :

Ukraine is a winter country , so definitely this restaurant is for seasonal business and their target seasons are spring, summer and fall. Because after seeing the structure , I was confuse how they gonna survive and run their business in winter but after discussion I came to know that this is seasonal business.

Entire interior reminds me mexican style party place , food , beer and dance. Quiet party mood , refreshing environment plus using of white color decoration really made the place inviting. Use of black and white graffiti as a part of interior was really a clever idea...

Place in divided into 3 sections, one is for BBQ party, One is for American food and another zone is for Mexican Food. So any type of customer can come and enjoy their time without disturbing one another which is pretty cool idea...

They have all types of authentic mexican food and price is quiet reasonable plus you can also find different cocktails here. Tacos, nachos, sizzling , seafood all are available..

Now fun part , Food ..

I never tasted authentic mexican food before so I have ordered beef sizzling and of course Tacos .. Beef sizzler was quiet delicious with tangy lemon flavor.

I have also ordered beef and chicken tacos which served with lemon and fresh tomato tangy sauce. Little bit spicy which is delicious. Crunchy tacos blown away my mind and every time whenever I go there I order this tacos. Quiet reasonable price and food served within 15 minutes after order.

Foods are fresh and obviously they took care of decoration. Beefs from beef sizzling was juicy and sensetional. Those tacos will give you tangy sour flavor with extra spice.

Cocktails ..

I can't think mexican food without cocktails , I mean tequila. Well, as it was day time so no tequila for me so I took Tequila Sunrise , which is one of my favourite cocktails of all. Also my friend took Pina Colada which he didn't like to be honest. I mean , if you are tasting mexican food without Tequila shot , hmmm... You are missing something....

Well, I try to go to this restaurant once in a month and one of my favourite restaurant. If you ever visit Kharkov , you should try this restaurant's food and I am sure it won't be your waste of money....

It was so good , perfect environment , perfect food , reasonable price ...
