Indian peacock
Indian peacock or native peacock (scientific name: Pavo cristatus) (English: Indian peafowl) is seen mainly in the Indian subcontinent. The species is protected under the Wildlife (Conservation and Safety) Act of 1974 [2] and 2012. [3] The species is the Indian National Bird.
