i am not usually one for sharing photos of my food, unless it’s food that I have made, but the other day I went for a quick little lunchy and chose this gorgeous open faced sandwich, which I have to share with you guys!
It was a slice of perfectly toasted rye bread, with hummus, grilled mushrooms, soft eggs and a great spice combo.
I ordered it thinking the description sounded delish, but when I was served the plate I was in love with the playing and layout of the food.

Love the Elvis story, I came across it during my search for sandwich ideas - remember I told you about my granny Google ;);) So I made an Elvis lookalike back then but didn't use a full bottle of everything, crazy story that not so :):)
Food presentation is an art in itself and so many wonderful elements for the artist to play with. The sprouts always do it for me. So alive and green, they go with any colour. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
That elvis fact made me laugh also why couldn't he have those ingredients in his house? Odd, that.
This looks a wonderful sandwich. This is basically my diet, minus the bread, and I don't tire of it. Eggs with greens and veg and some protein is always delish!
