๐ Easy Sweet Potato Fries ๐
I was inspired by @hannahlicious's post "How Good Does It Feel to Prep Your Meals" to share my Sweet Potato Fries recipe.
I really love fries. Well, anything potato-ey, but especially fries. As we all know, they are not the healthiest side out there. I like to make these Sweet Potato Fries when I feel like having a bit of a treat, but still want to be healthy
It's such an easy recipe too!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 large sweet potato
- fresh basil, finely chopped
- olive oil
- chilli flakes
- salt and pepper to taste
METHOD
Preheat your oven to 180'C. Wash and peel your potato. Chop it in half length ways, and then slice your potato into finger length pieces. You can then turn these pieces on their sides, and get as many neat, uniform fries as you can out of each slice.
Place your fries neatly onto an oiled baking sheet, and season with salt, pepper, chilli flakes and a little drizzle of olive oil. Bake at 180'C for about twenty to thirty minutes, or until crispy and golden brown
Serve with your favourite dipping sauce, I love these fries with Hellman's American Mayo. YES PUHLEASE!
Let me know if you make these - they are just too damn delicious!

hehe! But it is pretty healthy. It's not deep fried, and sweet potato is not such a dense carbohydrate is a regular potato
