LISTEN TO YOUR CHILD
Great Minds,
Today I had an awesome experience and would want to share. It scores high of the need to pay attention to our children. A lot of times we are carried away by the hustle and busy of work and how to make ends meet, so much busy that we gave little or no attention to our kids.
Even in schools, sometimes, the teacher may be busy with marking of books or doing something else and not pay attention to a child in need. Just yesterday in my child's school, a child's leg was pressed between a wooden desk. She was crying and shouting for help but rather the Aunty only looked at her direction and shouted on her to keep shut. Other little kids went to her but couldn't help. The child was in pain and yet the supposed teacher was there in the class. It took a parent who went there to carry her own child to notice the child and helped her out of such excruciating pain.
The same do happen in our home, a child may be having some pains but because he or she could not tell the pain exactly, they are left to suffer it.
Parents and guardians need to pay attention to the needs of children, to be able to tell the difference in their cries, the difference in the shout and gait in order to detect when something is wrong with them. To know when they have a challenge and give them the necessary help appropriately.

Find out the position of your little children and monitor their movement. A story was told of a man who killed his only child with his car. He never knew the child was under the car, he was reversing and the tyre climbed on the child and that was all. He cried and cried but it was late.
When for some time your kid is exceptional quiet without making any sound, find out what is going on, the child may be taking a poison or something that may be dangerous to her. When he makes unusual sound rush to him or her to see what could be wrong. What his or her signals what and where the child points to and find out what exactly she may be referring to.
Children are smart and have eagle eye only that they can't express themselves well. Let's be their guard and nurture them to become the better men and women that the society crave for to make the needed change.

Wow. This is quite informing and educating. Truly, we never really should be too busy to attend to these little ones. Thank you for your post. It is a good reminder to everyone especially those who are guilty of the act.

STOPIt's not good enough to give excuses for not taking care of our children. We need to guide them and protect them at early age.
totalmente verdadero eso suele suceder mucho en los hogares.
Hello there @princeso!
I have a seven year old boy and a five year old girl.
They need constant support, so I make sure they get it.
God bless you for being a caring parent
It seems so obvious, and yet so easy to forget. Thanks for sharing this story.
