Hello friends of steem4professionals, greetings to You all from all over the globe. Trust You all are doing great as usual. It's my pleasure to be here in this particular community and this happens to be my first time of coming across this particular community. I'm here to also follow and participate in this wonderful contest titled "OVERCOMING CONFLICT AT MY WORKPLACE". This topic also happens to be one of my best topic so far. All thanks to @Okere-blessing for bringing up this wonderful topic. I will be participating soon so let's begin from here without wasting time.

What do you understand by conflicts at workplace?

Best on my own understanding about conflict at work place, this has to deal with tension or disagreement that sometimes arises between workers and department which can easily affects work environment and productivity. Conflict can also arise from various sources such as misunderstanding breakdown this simply refers to information that is not conveyed effectively which can sometimes leads to confusion or lack of been defensive which can sometimes leads to Fighting and quarrelling

Do you think that all conflicts in the workplace can be resolved without hurting others? Explain.

Yes, conflict in the work place can easily be solved and sort out without hurting somebody's feelings it can simply be solved in a respective manner. You can avoid hurting someone's interest so that the problem will not reach you. But with a respectful approach to someone it can helps to minimise negative thoughts and helps resolve conflict according.

I also have some of the perspectives that can help conflict to be solved without hurting someone this includes.

1. Seek common ground: Endeavour to focus on shared goals and interest between individuals, it also involves some common perspective to facilitate communications there by asking an open ended questions to understand each others needs.

2. Open communication: It refers to the free exchange of Idea's and information within two individuals there by paying attention to each other and share a good thoughts In a respectful manner.

3. Active Listening: This is also one of the powerful communications technique that involves the act of listening to understand the perspectives and improve a better decision making.

4. Empathy: It is the ability to share the feelings of another person points of view there by showing concerns and care for their well-being or seek a diverse perspectives.

5. Respectful Dialogue: This is one of the communication approach that values mutual respect and understanding, it also involved the act of taking responsibility for mistakes or hurtful words.

What are your ways of dealing with conflicts in your workplace?

Dealing with conflict can seams to be challenging in working place but first of all I will consider to communicate very effectively and give some meaningful thought's, I will also consider to listen very attentively and express my concerns about what is being discussed about .

Seeking support can also help me manage conflict at my working place there by seeking advice from the management that will actually helps me provide guidance and support which will simply helps me to resolve conflict.

Learning from the conflict can also be another opportunity for me to grow, improve and also learn from the past mistakes, I will also recognise the valuable viewpoints and how they can lead to creative solutions.

Respecting differences will also help me to recognise that each person has their own opinion and some viewpoints which will help me to refrain from judging others and focus only on shared objectives and interest.

How well can you deal with a workplace in habitual conflict?

I can enable to manage a culture of respect there by creating a safe place for employees to share concerns and suggestions. I will also consider to offer a training and support for conflict resolution and management.

Another thing that will help me is to pay attention to the speaker and ask them clarifying questions and also show appreciation for the other persons perspective and feelings, I will also encourage meaningful discussions with open-ended question. I think with this very perspectives it will really help me to deal with a workplace.

When it comes to having disagreement with someone in my workplace I haven't experienced it before, and moreover in the place that I'm working we are not all that much we are only two in number, And all what I actually keeps on praying for each day is that God should guide and protect us from every form of having conflict or involving our selves in problem which will leads to argument and misunderstanding .

Empathy is a very key tools in resolving conflict let the two parties involved imagine themselves in each other situations. We are quick to throw offense sometimes because we are not in the other person situations.
