Sachin Tendulkar became the member of the Upper House of the Indian Parliament. He served as MP for 6 years. During the retirement, he has donated a total of 90 million rupees as a salary, in the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
There was a complaint against Tendulkar that he was not present at the Rajya Sabha session. But what he has done while retiring has been an example for everyone.
The Indian Prime Minister's Office also praised this greatness of 'Little Master'. It has been said in a message that this grant will be useful to stand beside the distressed people.
Tendulkar did a lot of work as a parliamentman when he did not attend the session very regularly. On the basis of his office, Indian media has said that in the last 6 years, he has allocated funds to 185 projects. He has spent more than Rs. 7 crore in development of the entire educational infrastructure of India. In West Bengal, there have been several development programs in the field of direct intervention of cricket legends.
