200 Followers the hard way, lol
I did not rush out and follow 10,000 Steemians hoping to get a 1,000 follow back.
But I am truly thankful for the loyal followers, it has been a slow and steady pace.
400 posts over the past 6 months, account value of just over $200.
To me, Steemit is all about developing a community, that takes time and I am rather selective.
I haven't made a fortune, but it is great when you get the odd whale upvote a comment or post.
I want to personally thank @jeanviete for introducing me to Steemit.
Also to @fyrstikken for the whale support as well as @htooms and @abn for the take my votes minnow support.

Hope many more here persevere through the slow times and see the potential for what Steemit is offering.
It takes patience, persistence and consistence to build a valuable account, as this is the only way to do it based on the foundation principles of Steemit. Sure anyone can get 1000 followers by following thousands to begin with, but will that account have any true value, either to the owner, or the community?
