Once in a Lifetime

Once in a Lifetime:

The middle of TN has been flooded with visitors lately because the the solar eclipse happening in this area. We are lucky enough to live very close to where the solar eclipse is happening:

We decided to be there for the whole two and a half minutes of the full eclipse (that picture can't do it justice). It was a glowing white rim of light behind a black circle. It was WILD! To make everything better, today is a full moon! We packed up the car (someone fell asleep in the car) and headed to where we were headed.... Ft. Loudon Dam on a boat!!!! The boat ride was very windy, but everyone had a lot of fun. We loved it!






The temperature started dropping, and it got darker and darker. My husband @cryptokeepr noticed some streetlights had been fooled and turned on. The cicadas also were fooled and started making noise (my son noticed this). Then, it was suddenly day time again. We had a fun rest of a hot summer day on the lake!
