I'm a photographer/artist— how is what you're doing helping me?

My objective with this account is to support artists who share their original work. I'll do that through upvotes, resteems and featured post/author roundups.

As this account grows, I'll power up SP and continue personally supporting this project in order to increase the amount of rewards I'm able to share through my curation efforts!

Okay but, besides a virtual shout out, how do curated authors/artists benefit?

• Authors whose work is featured in a weekly roundup (3 authors/artists featured each week) will each be added to that post as a 20% beneficiary
• Up to 5 more posts will be noted as honorable mentions, with each author included set as a 5% beneficiary
• 10% will be set to @null to burn, baby, burn

Whatever's left in the reward pool will be powered up and used when curating in order to offer higher rewards to recognize quality work.

How do you choose the photos you feature?

As a part of the photography community myself, I'll be upvoting and resteeming posts throughout the week as I come across them in #photography, #creativecoin, #art, and other tags utilized by visual #artists. Once a week, I'll publish a roundup featuring my top 3 favorites.

You say you’re part of the photography community— who are you?

Hiya! I’m a relative newcomer to the crypto and Steem scenes (August 2019), and you can find me posting from my personal account, @oheyo. But I'm a veteran photographer, sitting somewhere between amateur and pro — more one than the other depending on the genre, tbh. 😅

What do you look for?

I look for eye-catching and evocative works of creative art (primarily photography). This account is called @prettypictures, so tl;dr, I'm looking for #prettypictures. (Feel free to use that hashtag 😉) Additional considerations include demonstrated photographic skill or potential, intuition, technical expertise.

I'm not necessarily looking for pro-level shots— I'm looking for composition that makes me think, images that make me feel, and photos that astound (or at least elicit curiosity). TL;DR — I, or anyone else, should look at the photo and be like, dang, I want to share that with [insert name here]!

This account supports original photographic content that is published by the creator. This should go without saying, but plagiarized content is NEVER EVER okay. Don't be a thief!
