My House Boy Experience

First what is the role of an house boy?
Depending on the house though, He is supposed to clean the house, cook food, take care of the children and if there is no washing, do the laundry. So let's see my own case.

After my house was burgled and my phone was stolen about 2 weeks ago, i decided to leave the house, change my environment and clear my head because i felt the trauma a little. This was also my opportunity to leave home and continue my "away from my parents-life" which I've missed because i'm serving in Lagos and definitely would work from home which has been quite stressful not because of anything but the fact that i miss my freaking privacy.
OK, So i left the house and headed to my aunt's house, it's a young and beautiful regular family. Two young children and a newly born. Being a responsible guy, i understand i must help out with the house chores. i love house chores but being the first born, i choose when to do and how much i wanna do...but this is a different terrain.
Basically, i wake up around 5:30a.m to bathe the kids and prepare them for school. At first, this was a stressful chore especially when you have a big and hyper-active kids. But while bathing this morning, i realized that I've gotten used to the routine, it comes quite naturally along with keeping the place clean and i thought to myself..."My husband material is increasing o."

In preparation for marriage and parenting, there are certain things you need to learn and get acquainted to in other to be a caring and world-class (in my case) father, even if it requires you getting a house-boy experience like i did.
