How I got a Random Twitter User to know about Steemit

Hello inspiring Steemians, It's a great day over here today, of course the market is green😆... Its also a sad one because my post got flagged due to un-sourced materials😥.

Well, I'm share to share my experience telling a random twitter user about steemit and her reaction.

Lets get to it...

On the first day of this month, I stumbled on a tweet by one @QueenMahgie that was retweeted to my timeline on twitter, she talked about her works, and sampled some. In her words, she said "My name is Chioma Nze, I am an artist my art ranges are sketches, illustration, painting, logos, fashion designing and hand painted apparels."

I went through her timeline and discovered her previous works.... then I returned to the initial tweet to throw a little light about steemit and asked her to send me a direct message knowing she can use that her little craft to add value to the community by teaching others how to do it, challenging herself and others also, and most importantly improve in what she do because I know steemit will give her that chance to explore.

I woke up yesterday to see a notification from twitter that i have a message request from @QueenMahgie. I opened and the message I saw was "Tell me more about Steemit" I traced the account and then I discovered it was the person I replied to her tweet the previous day.

It was a welcomed question as I was already waiting for her... Then I started telling her about steemit, how she can use it to improve herself and also earn for what she does. It was an interactive session as she was very inquisitive and good thing I was able to sort her out on the questions.

As always, when you tell many people about steemit, the next question will be 'How they can earn from it'


It was not a different thing in her case as she also want to know she can get those tokens to her account. I had to start explaining how she convert to other tokens and then I talked about @airhawk-exchange and steemexchange where one can sell the steem or sbd and get money directly to the bank account.

It got all interesting for her and was ready to know more... i gave her steemit.com/welcome to go through, and read the FAQ so she can get her questions answered.

She was also cautious of her contents... but then I told her its not a problem as no one will use her content without giving credits.

I really do hope on her coming to the community and exploring herself to the world.
