The Diary Game : 27th of February 2021 | In and Out, In and Out and In. | 5% for SL Charity

Well today was Saturday, and I had forgotten that today was the day of the village gathering at our house. See, it's not exactly a village, more like a community. this community has established a certain club thingy, called 'Sumithuru'. So for like per two months of time, they get together to meet and discuss things going on around. Just like a "Samithi'. The location of this gathering moves from house to house, and apparently today was our turn. Therefore despite the fact that I went to sleep yesterday around 4.00 am, my parents woke me up at 8.00 am, to get on with the cleaning, decoration and all that.

And also, painting work of our house's roof is going on these days, as it's a quite big one. You could say that I'm the driver of the house, just like part-time job. Dad's leg isn't perfect and there's no one else who can drive, so I'm the one that goes out, most of the time. So even before I could get breakfast, I had to drive to the town to grab some supplies. Some for the meeting tonight and 4litres of paint for the work. The car's key has been indicating that it's battery is low for a several days now, and I was starting to get the feeling that its sensitivity has significantly reduced. So I also went to an electrical shop to replace its battery as well. I came home around lunch, and had both the meals about the same time. After that I replaced some of the bulbs that has been dead with some new ones I bought. Around 3pm, the tea time was approaching so I went to get some Buns for the painters to have at tea. Just after getting back home it was disappointing to hear that my mom had forgotten to tell me to buy some paper plates for the gathering, so I went back again to buy them.

After helping with, well basically making our house pleasant enough for a human to step in, the people start arriving slowly. Father and Mother did the welcome thing, and I got into my room to mind my own business. Yea, I don't like to join in with that traditional kind of thing. But unfortunately I noticed that my phone's battery was dead, and the charger was far away around the gathering. So I decided to take the laptop and start writing something for the diary, instead of looking at the due assignment and studies. Just cannot make myself commit to that lol.

So that's it for now, the end of babbling about the day just went. I don't really got much pics to put, so I'm just gonna click on the meal I'm having right now in my room while the meeting is going on just outside. I know it isn't ideal, but I hate to put a post without an image, so whatever.
