Short & Sweet!

People do several things as their passion or as their hobby. It make them alive and happy. It depends and no matter about their choice as long as they can be happy with what they are doing. For me it's reading. Reading is my favourite hobby. If someone needs to find prasadi's bag, they can do it easily as most of the time it contains a book!

Colombo public library is the biggest library I've seen so far. I used it's study area when I had exams and I had inner drive to get the membership for borrowing books. It took some time and finally I got it as an achievement. It's an easy process and luckily they didn't ask any grama niladhari certificates or character certificates like in the libalry in
Monaragala. You only need 2000 deposit or a guarantee from colombo 1-15 area, with their water or electricity bill. You can download the application via the official website of colombo public library.

Once get the membership, you will be permitted to come to the library and choose what you want. 4 books are released per time and you will be given one month of time to finish your reading. They've arranged and categorised books nicely and clearly for the easiness of the readers.

I was so amazed to see that huge collection of books. Stories from all over the world and the authors from all over the world are in the colombo public library. Finally going to library on every saturday became my very new habit.

Yesterday I chose these three books by Paulo Koelho, Antia Desai and an Afaghan translation I am Nujood Age 10 and devorced.
