When buses are strated to travel from Monaragala to colombo through highway I said my amma "Even though it will rise up to 5000 I"ll never use the normal way." But do you know what happend? When it went up to 2800 LKR I had to move to the normal way. It's okay if it was only the bus fee. But the truth is we have to pay high prices for everything. So after a long time I had to spent 8-9 hours to come my home. Anyway there is a story on that bus journey.

When I went to Kotuwa bus station there was a bus loaded for Monaragala with all seats filled. I asked the driver about the next bus and he said that you had to wait two or three hours for the next bus. So I decided to come home by the same bus. Luckily I got a seat then. But there were many people in the bus without any seats. Foot board was also filled and there were many people waiting for the same bus. Normally we say there was no space for a one single finger in the bus.

I heard people were scolding, arguing and some were requesting " please bring us too. At one time the conductor felt down from the bus, but luckily he had no damage. Silently I was thinking and about the things. Sometimes I shared my seat with old aunties who were standing in the bus.

Reservoir but didn't want to take any photos. Bus ride didn't make me so tired. Current situation of the country did it. I payed a near cost which I used to payed for the highway before three months. I don't know how the people who make daily living afford to pay this huge bus fees.

I don't want to make the people negative. But unfortunately this is the truth we are facing!
