Occupational Therapy Day 2023!

Past week was the busiest of all. Since I was the main organizer of the occupational therapy day 2023, I had to work on fulfilling many many tasks. Finally we did it. It's celebrated world wide on 27th of october. On that day there are many events are orgamized to aware the people of occupational therapy and the value of it. In our proggrame also we included an awareness speech for the public, about occupational therapy. This time our theme was unity through community!

Our event was held at colombo public auditorium on 27th october. Specially we held an art exhibition started from 15th september to 22nd october, aiming school students. It was an island wide art (drawing)competion and we recieved many arts from all over the country. Their indirect contribution and participation made our event so colour ful. We invited all the winners and their parents to come for the event, and to see the exhibition which was filled by their beautiful arts.

It was started at 9.00 am and conducted till noon. My batch mates performed a drama, and I saw the audience was really enjoying that. Actually we have very good actors in our batch. I did a welcome speech, the very first welcome speech in my life. Thankfully it's over now.

My biggest happiness is helding that art competition and offering gifts with certificates for the winners. I know how much I enjoyed my gifts as a student when I won creative wrting competions. Finally I added a very good experince for my life organizing an event. I had to give my maximum to make this event success.
