Night at Kumbichchan Kulama Lake Park

So this is the final extension of my Anuradhapura journey. In the last evening we decided to go back to Thissa wewa for a bath. We found a safe place where many people were bathing and playing. We too also gathered with them. Since this is dry season for Anuradhapura, lakes do not have much water as usual. It was easy for us. But the taxi drivers and the people we met were continously complaining of the hard time they were going through. It's true because many people are farming there. Hope rain will go for them soon!

After bathing from thissa wewa one of our friends suggested one of the most beautiful places in Anuradhapura. It's Kumbichchankulama lake park, near to Anuradhapura town. Once we reached there, we felt that it was the best suggestion. Actually it was a quite nice place. There were some huts in the lake with some beautiful lights.

I must say this. People you see in this picture are one of the bestest people I've ever met in my life. Um so happy cz I met them. It's Lakshika akka and her mother who are very kind, innocent and funny. I had a very beautiful time with them in that mind blowing place.

As I mentioned before if it's Anuradhapura there should be a white colour thing near to the sky. So I experienced that beauty again sitting in that hut, in the lake. We ordered our dinner and had together. They were really really delicious and praveen was so amazed to see that his girl was eating well!

Finally we decided to have a night walk together under the moon light and it was extremely beautiful!
