New Year Means Coming Home| 5% to SL Charity

As a kid I was waiting for the new year season. I was waiting for new clothes and other new year stuffs. But a very long time ago that warm new year feelings were vanished from me. Even though um not taking it as an special day I love the feeling of sharing and making others happy.

Coming Home

New year means my grand mom's happiness. All her sons and daughters come to see her with their kids and it's enough for my grand mom to be the happiest woman in the world. It makes me so happy.

In this year actually we can't send messages like happy new year. Are we happy? Are we in a state to celebrate a new year? Most of the fathers and mothers are suffering because they can't afford foods and new clothes for their kids. They are also human beings just like us. Then how can we wish a happy new year?

But I love this vacation. That's the only thing which gave me a sense. Because I was able to come my home.

The Secret Bag

Last sunday was the day when I came home. I had some gifts to share with my family. So I had a big bag of gifts. A bag filled with secrets and happiness! No one in the family know about these gifts and it was really a surprise. I was waiting for it more than a month. When I had a free time I did some shopping and collected the gifts. Finally we all are happy!

I decided to buy clothes for everyone, specially for my two young sisters and they loved for what I bought. Thaththa and amma also happy with my choices for them. Also bought many chocaltes and sweets for my little sister, and a box of various sweets for my grand mom. For me both are babies.

After the fist day at my home I was sick. I was suffering from fever and cough. Um so sad to say that my entire vacation was destroyed by the fever. Today is the day that I felt somewhat better. But I feel like I can't go tommorow. I want to stay in this warm home forever.
