My First Theatre Experience!
Today um gonna share with u about my very first theatre experince. We were allowed to enter to the main theatre of colombo north teach hospital in Ragama. There our theatre was plastic surgery theatre where plastice surgeries are done. Plastic surgeries mean reparing of tendons, ligaments and nerves. It's not only reparing/ changing your nose, face or any other facial things.
First I thought I may not able to see those cutting things with blood. Surperisingly I was able to see everything without any difficulties. A theatre is a sterilized area where no one is allowed to enter without seterilized safety kit, shoes, head covering and a mask with very clean hands. There is a surgeon, anethestist, and a nursing officer for each and every surgery. Other supportive staff members and other members of the nursing staff is always ready for supporting to the surgeon. Condultant is the head and the supervisor of all surgeries and sister is the head of the theatre.

All the equipments with cotton and bandages are all sterilized and after taking them for the surgery no one is going to touch them with unsterilized hands. Only the nurse and the surgeon is touching and using them. I found very kind surgeons, doctors and nurses who tries to comfort their patients and giving all the support to relax them.
Unfortunately patients have to wait in the queu so long without having foods and water, repeating the same question that when I get in to the theatre. It' so pathetic. But I saw all the staff is working so hard to give their maximum with shoratage of equipments and staff as well!
My 1st theatre experince is not so bad!
