A Calm Afternoon

Few days back I visited our village river, named Kumbukkan oya. I've been there hundreds of times, and now it looks like old and alone. When I was a kid I loved it and it was not alone at all, at the time. Village womens were there, washing their clothes or may be bathing, while little kids got the maximum benifit from the fun time. Time has changed and no one needs to go to the river for washing and bathing. I felt like the river has passed it's ages fast,like my grand mom.

In the afternoon I decided to visit our river to take some video clips. To be honest it was not a journey for enjoying nature. While um doing that, my dog gave me a huge support laying down on a rock and going here and there in the water. It added an extra thing to my videos.

I had no idea to take photos of mine, until chooty changed my mind by taking a photo of mine. I felt like it was beautiful.

If you see the things mindfully we could grab many wonders in the nature. So can you see a face of a teddy bear on the water? I Added eyes and a smile for this water teddy to look more cute. I think my dog had a very peaceful time there.

Um so grateful to have this fabulous river, and for having easy access anytime I want. This has made wonderful memories for my childhood as well. Good bye river, until the next time!
