Seismic Stratigraphy
Seismic method of Geophysics uses manually generated seismic wavefields to study subsurface for exploration and production of oil and gas.
Raw seismic data is processed to enhance through digital processing to reveal the subsurafce geology. Seismic stratigraphy uses thus processed images to understand the depositional setup to predict the potential of finding oil and gas.
