In my early day days in business, a younger colleague walked up to me and said, Sir, if I have the opportunity have had I would have made it Big time. I asked him, how? He said, he does not believe in “walking on the slow lane, fast lane is better”. I did not care to give him more of my time to explain further. At least I got his message.

Everyone has a dream. “Dream BIG and Make it Big was the slogan”. As we were leaving college every one left with expectation; a dream. Some said, “I will buy an SUV car in six months time as soon as I got a job. There was nothing wrong in such expectations, however; but sadly though some are still struggling with none existing jobs.

Great things require more time, big achievements and beautiful results requires not just more time but being result oriented. For you to have a beautiful outcome, it has to take time in other to achieve it. This means people have to be patient and hard working for something great to be achieved.

For every breakthrough, there is always a startup time. A startup walking time, and a startup running time. This is called “achievement process”. A learning time, and a Testing time. Whatever goal you have set for yourself to achieve, you have to be consistence in Hard work. Life is a process, and in other to get the best out of life, then you have to be patient. There are no short-cuts to achieving greatness. People who use short-cuts, either end up 6 feet below or in prison; or end up at nothing. The bible says that there is time for everything.

Nothing good comes easy says Bongos Igwue in one of record tracts. Nothing great comes without hard work and dedication. To achieve success in life, one needs to work hard. However, this hard work may take time to bring fruits. There is always a planting season and harvest season. When we dream big we need to make some move and continue making progress in the same direction. It is not wise to give up on the way. The bigger your goal or dream in life, the harder you need to work for it and the longer you need to wait for success.

A winning or a go getting mentality should cap up your hard work. There are no risk free endeavors anywhere in the world. There are always mountains and valleys to cross. One step forward leads to the other. Avoid the company of it can never be achieved people. “For nothing shall be impossible to him that believes”.
