The world as we see today is having economic downturn. There is a devastating pandemic ravaging the peoples. Means of livelihood is very scarce. Many people ordinarily would have been alive are dying in great number.
Many are dying in our hospitals, not actually because of sickness but lack of money to purchase their drugs, more of these in the Third World countries where poverty can be seen with your two naked eyes.
- Is there any hope for the peoples of the world?
Yes, there is hope for the peoples of the world who are trusting in the God of zIsaac for their sustenance even in this time of tribulation.
The bible, our book of reference, the infailable Word of God says, that in a time of famine,
Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the LORD blessed him.
It was in time of famine that the earth yielded more increase in havest for Isaac. Did you see that? That same God is still the same today. Our God is in charge of our times and seasons. He operates his divine economic system incomparably different to the greatest economies of the world system can comprehend.
From our Bible passage of Psalm 67, we understand that when praises ascends to God , His glory descends.
There is some King David. If we praise the name of the, then the earth shall yield her increase.
Naturally speaking, it is not easy to sing praises with an empty stomach. It also not easy to do so when bills are pilling up alarmingly.
But we have to believe God rather than our biting situations. We get to trust, not how we feel. In fact how we see or feel about this hash economic hardship cannot change anything. But God, He did it for Isaac.
Let the peoples praise the Lord and your earth shall yield her increase. This made whatever godly that you engage in as a means of livelihood shall bring you prosperity.
