JESUS CHRIST THE ETERNAL ARK
The unsinkable structure of this era is no longer the ark that Noah built with his hands. The Unsinkable Ark for all time is Jesus Christ! The same Christ is represented here and now upon the face of the earth by His Triumphant Church. And everything, which Noah and the rest of h is family did, the Church of Jesus Christ is expected to do, and even more! There are, however, some marked differences between the Noah’s ark and the Eternal Ark.
First of all, there is no physical barrier blocking the entry to the Eternal Ark unlike Noah’s ark. You know why? Because the veil has been torn in sunder from top to bottom and we have free access to the Holy of holies, by the blood of the Lamb. The Eternal Ark has the capacity to pick up drowning humanity, as it cruises to the ocean of eternity. We are called to usher men and women into the Ark as it sails toward eternal life. And the waters of iniquity, which has been unleashed by the enemy, would dry up at the glorious Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ who is seated at the right hand of the Father.
The second essential difference is that the Eternal Ark has a spiritual key which can be operated to open its spiritual door but by physical machinations of a willing man. The Scripture says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (Jn 1:12). This is a guarantee that merely requires the input of faith, which can be turned in the physical in order to open the spiritual door of the Eternal Ark. The door is accessed with the key of:
Romans 10:8, 10.
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
WHAT ARE MEN UP TO INSIDE THE ETERNAL ARK EVEN AS WE SPEAK?
Whenever you appraise the Church along with the catalogue of crusades and texture of testimonies, the depth of needs that abound and the spiritual famine strikes those with discernment. The most popular refrain now is “Come expecting your miracle now”. And people usually do come. In their droves! But what happens after the miracle, to the recipient? Ordinarily, the answer should be simple enough. One would have expected that the recipient of the miracle begin to live productively, to live creatively, and to live a contributory lifestyle that would justify the measure of grace activated in such life. This is not what we see happening. Not by a long shot. Why? Because people are no longer saved to serve neither are they saved to create. They fail to see the need to replicate the miracles they have received for the benefit of creation.
Consequently, the Church has transformed to being a spiritual clinic only. Do not get me wrong. I am not saying it is out of place for the church to serve as a spiritual restoration centre! Of course, we are the children of Jehovah Rapha, who is at once the Balm of Gilead. But God expects much more! Salvation is not a premise for receiving a healing from the Lord even! Rather salvation brings you into the glorious light of divine purpose with full access to the supernatural supply required to justify the same purpose.
I am convinced the time has come when the congregation of the saints should be hearing stunning testimonies of how God gave the testifier the formula of a particular product, or a particular principle or theory, or the recipe to a much needed innovation. I do not think that the God who can heal cancer cannot give the knowledge for a device, which can transmit the Gospel live to millions of people at the same time from one pulpit at the touch of one buttons just as they rise in the morning. Why should the Christians not have total control of the broadcast media right now for the purposes of aggressive evangelism? Oh, the Church is wasting creative potential, recondite prowess and abilities right now. It grieves my heart so.
