BEARING FRUITS.

One touch of Jesus leads to distinction and heightened production, no doubt. But this is not instinctive. You must deliberately pursue the goal.

Ode Eyeoyibo, president of Epignosia ministries, wrote in his book, Dare To Succeed: Productivity-Footprints in the Sands of Life, “You need to have a bias for production. We are not naturally born with this, but it is a quality we can cultivate. An attitude that says I want to bear fruit….. I want to get some results”.

Jesus gives the believer a potent platform to obtain incomparable results! So the more of Jesus you have, the more the increase to your production!

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

• …..Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine and you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. The true Vine supplies ALL the essence that the branches require to fruit. The true Vine never leaves the branches malnourished and under-producing. This is the proof of God’s love bestowed upon Christian believers in Christ Jesus. More and more of Jesus Christ.

The story of Charles Finney is an equally compelling portrayal of increased production after an encounter with Jesus Christ. Charles Finney was reputed to have had three other successful careers apart from being a lawyer, an evangelist and a writer.

Born in 1792, this former lawyer, practicing in Upstate New York, in the United States of America, made a significant career change after an encounter with God in 1821. At his conversion declared he was a “retainer for …. Jesus Christ to plead His cause”. Charles Finney became an evangelist holding enormous citywide crusades in New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, and many other cities. Huge crowds flocked to hear him from 1824 until 1832. He went on to pastor three churches including Second Street Presbyterian Church, Broadway Tabernacle (both in New York City), and First Congregational Church in Oberlin, Ohio. From the pastorate, Finney became the president of Oberlin College, Ohio in 1851.

Now Oberlin College, founded in 1833, pioneered co-education and was the first college to admit blacks on an equal footing with whites. Dr James L. Garlow wrote in The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership: Tested by Time, “Oberlin was not an ordinary college. It was way ahead of its time. And that was due to the unusual foresight of Charles Finney. Oberlin was the first college to admit women-a move previously unheard of. And it was also the first college to admit blacks-equally foreign to the academic world”.

Increased production is a necessary outcome in the life of any born-again Christian. IT IS NOT AN OPTION. It is inexcusable not to have heightened productivity in the “new creation” phase of our lives as believers! Increased production should grow with deepening discipleship.

It is due season for revelation and for manifestation in an impressive style. Make a compelling choice to partake in this orchestrated globe-fest on a never-before-seen-nor-heard scale. If not, you would find yourself marooned with the out-of-the-limelight talebearers, chronicling what break-through the history-makers are to be cued on to the dramatic stage in a massive construct, scripted, produced and directed by the ominiscient Executive Producer. It is, however, a ONE-ACT production with no provision for encore. Maximise this opportunity by MAXIMISING your moment of manifestation.

Stay connected to and become filled with more of Jesus daily!

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6

Look every time with the clear eyes of expectation. And be thoroughly prepared at every turn. You should be aware the Lord’s blazing stage has lately become the locus of attention, in preparation of the manifestation of saints. Because this is the day of the Lord’s power, you will never experience POWER FAILURE neither would you suffer the affliction of a cloudy veil of CREATIVITY BLACKOUT capable of ruining the entire enterprise!

A minister of the Gospel said, “Only the eyes of expectation see opportunities everywhere. When opportunity meets preparation, you have a ‘miracle’.” I heartily agree.
