Oh, I forgot to include the last rule in my post LOL Good idea!!

I grew up without a car and we walked everywhere we had to go. It is almost impossible in Southern California. Everything is built for cars here. 😟

Hahahah. Yeah, it seemed like a good rule for a contest to have.

I think walking may be the most important activity a person can do, despite my not doing it so much as I did when I was younger. I used to walk all the time.

I remember reading a book (forget the name) that dealt with these people called the Hunza. They were a health marvel and from what I can recall they had no cars. There were really old people playing volleyball. They were not polluted by the more advanced cultures due to their area not being easily accessible and they had no resources worth exploiting by the world greedsters.

Cheers to your improving health @practicalthought! Thanks for nominating me! I sure do have my work cut out for me though, this will be quite the challenge! I'm sure I can come up with something. :)

As for an idea, I don't know too much about you but maybe Steemit would be a good thing to be thankful for in a future post?

Awesome 😁

That is a great idea for one of the posts. I have something coming up soon that will give me lots to write about, but saving it for then. I know I haven't been commenting on your recent posts. but have been digging around a little and should have something that may or may not be helpful on your next post regarding all the unexpected visits and such. Thanks so much for participating in this. Finding our blessings is an excellent way of putting perspective on troubling areas.

That's okay! I totally understand, as I can be such a noob sometimes when it comes to networking and keeping in touch with people here. I can tell you're way better at it than me!

That is so helpful that you've dug into some information for me to deal with these people too! I feel like I'm being steemrolled by them!

That's kind but I doubt is true. You have 5x the followers/following 5 times the people. I am already finding this difficult to juggle and can't imagine how you are pulling it off. Your personal feed must be so unmanageable. Mine already feels like I am missing out on so many posts, and now that I am posting more it leaves even less upvotes I can give. The only solution I can see is becoming a whale, lol.

Speaking of which, please save your upvote when you read this for another. I feel bad I have already snagged two of them from you here, plus another in your thread. While it is true I have an aversion to getting no upvotes, I know how quick they go.

I don't keep up with most of them, but am getting better at it after months and months. I feel so bad a lot of the time because there are people who visit my blog often and comment often, and I neglect to match their effort. Seriously, I could do better lol.

I also have a habit of upvoting comments at 100% to avoid dustvotes, and to show appreciation - even more than other people's posts - and killing my VP! Some other things I need to work on. ;)

It's often the miscalculations or the unexpected curves that give us the opportunities to do things we should be doing all along but don't do, for whatever reason, isn't it?

Well, hopefully you'll be able to not only keep up with her, but set the pace. :)

Okay. I'm going to try to do this 7 Day Positivity Challenge, but probably won't start it until Monday, at the earliest. And I'll need to double up one day since I take Sundays off. Or maybe I can just wait until the following Monday. Anyway, hopefully that won't break the positivity I'm supposed to be building up.

Thinking of three people to do this every day is going to be the biggest challenge. I'm not all that good at choosing others to these kinds of challenges.

Awesome, thank you. I don't see an issue with taking a day off and then finishing.

Yeah, I am worried about this too. Because of my selectivity in who I follow, many are ones who already post several times a day and I worry that they will not have time for it. If it's any consolation, you were among my first three because you seemed among the most approachable. :)

I guess it's good to be approachable. :)

The time part is important. Some people find these things to be a big waste of it, so I don't know. The last couple I've been involved with I've just left it up to whoever wanted to take the challenge to do it. Maybe I'll take that approach here. These things have their way of making the rounds several times and so knowing who may or may not have already participated is another issue.

I never commit myself to anything that i'm not sure that I can complete . In this case I will not only make an exception but do my damndest to complete . The guy in the mirror never lies :)

The guy in the mirror never lies :)

Hahaha, unfortunately he does not. So glad you are going to take part.

somethings you just can't turn down .
Already posted day one lol
