My Actifit Report Card: August 22 2024.......Throwback Thursday 👣💨🍃🙌👏💯🙏😇👼💞😴💤☕⛅🎼🎶👌✨🌠

Hello everyone 😻,

Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been a great day and am back to share on how it went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Without much further ado let's get down to business💨.
So I began my day with a short walk around the neighborhood. It was sunny 🌞 but then turned quite cloudy ☁️ as I headed back.
Indoors, I handled the usual house chores and then settled down to some you tube videos.
Later in the evening, I stopped by the city centre before heading back home 🏡 and calling it a day.
Rain 🌧️ is forecast for tomorrow🙀.
Let's now proceed with the trending stories from around the world.
As usual Gaza trending as another bloody day unfolded🙀. 47 Palestinians killed as Israel targeted populated areas housing displaced Palestinians 😿.
Meanwhile, Israel has sent a delegation to Cairo Egypt for the next step in talks for a ceasefire. A deal is definitely in sight.
The US is urging Hamas to accept the bridging proposal.
Under the deal, there would be release of Israeli hostages in Gaza in exchange for release of Palestinians from Israeli jails.
In the other war, Russia has accused Ukraine of trying attack the nuclear power plant in Kursk🙀.
The head of IAEA is headed to that area to make sure there power plant remains secure.
Across the pond in the US, Kamala Harris is expected to accept her party's nomination to run for president on the last day of the DNC convention in Chicago.
She will be making her most important speech as she makes history as the first woman of colour to be nominated for president. Congratulations 🎉 to her, let's wait for that speech😹.
Finally, let's end on a health note. Researchers have said that micro plastics have been found in human brains🙀.
This means that the blood/brain barrier is not as effective as we thought. It is still not known the long-term effects of the micro plastics.
They have also been found in bone marrow, kidneys and lungs too🙀.
That's scary but with time we will definitely know the implications.
