Yellow On the Homestead
Lots Of Yellow
This is my entry to @knowledge-seeker's Homestead Photo Contest. There's still a little time to get in on this, so check out the post and get entered. This week's prize starts at 2 SBD.
There are lots of yellow things to snap a picture of out in the garden and around the yard. Most of them are blossoms. Tomato blossoms, cucumber blossoms, tomatillos blossoms. There are marigolds and a sunflower just starting to open up.
But my favorite yellow thing out there is the duck bucket that my Gram got me. She got one for me, one for my sister and one for herself.
My Gram taught me about gardening and nurtured a love for it in me. We still trade plants and seeds and articles and books. Even though I don't use it much, I keep it out near the garden. My duck watering can keeps my Gram on my mind while I'm out in the garden.

Love it!
What a cool shot of the sunflower. That's an outside-the-box picture. Hope you win the contest :)
oh wow! I really love that duck bucket. I am jealous. I really love the sentimental connection you shared about your gran. Lovely.
Love your duck bucket!
