'American Soil' Is Increasingly Foreign Owned : NPR

The number of acres of U.S. farmland held by foreign-owned investors has doubled in the past two decades, raising alarm bells in farming communities.
When you read the story it is more about their kids not wanted to farm anymore.
USA offers stability and all investors are searching for such fit.
I read once that Americans are buying land in South America.
It could be different objectives but at the end it means you don’t want it I will buy it.
Land is a great investment.
The article wants to raise the alarm.
USA is big so big that foreigners will never be able to buy all the land.
I saw the wind farm on my way to Chicago.
This article made me understand that those fertile land will sit doing no agriculture
Things may change but whenever the farmers are getting old and the kids don’t want to farm somebody will purchase their land.
