Chase Ross Allegations pt. 1.5 (An Apology and Why I'm Waiting for the Other Side of the Story)

Chase Ross will upload an apology video to his channel regarding the abuse allegations. Other than that, I don't have any information from his side of the story. The reason why I want to hear from him is that, although Aaron has compelling evidence, hearing from Chase is equally important to get the most accurate picture of the nature of these allegations before I or anyone else weighs in.

I do support believing survivors when they come out with stories like this. However, fake allegations do exist and, by being able to see from both sides, we will be better able to tell which allegations are fake and which are real. In the era of #MeToo and people coming forward with testimonies of various truth values, I want allegations to be about bringing abusers to justice and helping the abused rather than spreading misinformation and fearmongering.

I would appreciate it if you resteemed and upvoted these works to spread awareness of what is going on. If Chase isn't who everyone thinks he is, I want young trans people, especially artists, to be safe from him. However, if Aaron is lying, he's bringing someone down who did a lot of good for trans people. I will weigh in after watching and breaking down Chase's apology video but, until then, I'm not weighing in.
