Security at airport is getting tighter and tighter. I see this as a necessary evil to ensure the safety of all.

I personally think they clearly exaggerate considering the comparable low risk. To construct saver stairs for example is cheaper and would rescue more lives (in my article I have linked some statistics about the most frequent causes of death). :)
However, I am aware that probably the majority of people would agree with you.
Furthermore one should be aware that many of the measures have nothing to do with terrorism anyway, and instead of that just serve the governments to control all our activities. For example they want to know where we spend how much money.
Other measures (some of them described in my article) are just completely unnecessary, for example to control people when entering a stair, and then when leaving it, again ...
