Anthony Yeboah

Anthony Yeboah is a former Ghanaian soccer player. He played in the Bundesliga as a striker for Hamburger SV and Eintracht Frankfurt.
He had his heyday as a player near Frankfurt. There he became top scorer of the German Bundesliga for two years in a row.
Since 2013, his image has adorned one of the "Pillars of Harmony" in the underground station "Willy Brandt Platz" in Frankfurt.
Near Frankfurt Niederrad station, a house wall was decorated in honour of Yeboah with a picture of him and the saying: "We are ashamed of all who cry out against us".
This sentence comes from an open letter he wrote together with Tony Baffoe and Souleyman Sane. The wall is a visible sign for tolerance and against discrimination.

In der Nähe des Bahnhofs Frankfurt Niederrad wurde eine Hauswand zu Ehren Yeboahs mit einem Bild von ihm und dem Spruch: „Wir schämen uns für alle, die gegen uns schreien“ geschmückt.
