How to create an under construction page - Maintenance (Wordpress)

This plugin is very useful for those who need to make visual changes for example of your site and don´t want the user see your site deformed.

With this plugin creates a page that says that the site is under maintenance and only with a username and password can you see the site.

Use of this plugin is quite easy and quick to use for its purpose.

So in this tutorial I will explain how to create a maintenance page from your blog, online store or institutional website.

First we will install the plugin and make their respective activation to be able to work.

  1. Go to the menu "Plugins"
  2. Click the submenu "Add New"
  3. Search by: "Duplicate Pages"
  4. Install plugin

Then we will check if the plugin is installed.

After the plugin is installed and activated we will make the respective settings, so the cookies notification bar appears on the website.

  1. Go to the menu "Maintenance"
  2. Button Maintenance (Put on)
  3. Page title - It's the title of the page for tab
  4. Headline - It's the title of the body page
  5. Description - You can describe why the page is under maintenance
  6. Footer Text - Footer information
  7. Set Logo width - Size logo (width)

  1. Set Logo height- Size logo (height)
  2. Logo - Upload logo (Normal Logo)
  3. Retina logo - Upload logo for screens retina
  4. Background image - Upload background image
  5. Background color (example: black)

  2. Font color (example: white)
  3. Font family (example: Open Sans)
  4. Subsets (example: Devanagari)
  5. Show admin bar (example: check)
  6. 503 - Service temporarily unavailable, Google analytics will be disable.
  7. Google Analytics ID - It is your google id
  8. Set blur intensity (example: 5)
  9. Apply background blur (example: not checked)
  10. Enable frontend login (example: Check)

  2. Posts - Indetify post exclude pages from maintenance mode
  3. Pages - Indetify pages exclude pages from maintenance mode
