Bindweed, a medicinal annoyance
I had no idea that the leaves of bindweed could be so pretty as they fade. Bindweed (calystegia sepium) is a common plant that can drive many gardeners nuts. However it is actually medicinal, the leaves can be brewed into a tea to reduce strong menstrual bleeding and all parts can be taken as tea for laxative effects. Remember to never combine herbal remedies with pharmaceutical medications.
