Bug?! Strange blockchain behaviour while posting!

Today, when trying to post my last article, I encountered some strange behaviour and I got the following error message:

RPCError: missing required posting authority:Missing Posting Authority username

I searched for the issue and did not find any hints, why this could occur (I was legally and perfectly logged in with my posting key, had access to everything that should work with this key, so I was quite sure, that I actually HAD posting authority)

I found a similar behaviour described when using umlaut ä ö ü inbetween square brackets ('['and ']'), so I searched my post for unusual signs and characters.

I found one strange sign looking like a small sigma, which I copy pasted as citation into my last post. So if ever you encounter such strange behaviour, scan your texts for ascii code or other strange characters. Possibly it would be beneficial to clearify the error message, so that less able users easier can find the mistake!

Ya bro i also face problm error.

Thanks for the tip, I have gotten the error many a times! But I usually just put my key in again, after making sure I am still in Steemit and not on a phishing site. Sometimes I've copy-pasted my whole post to a new draft and then it goes on smoothly. Bugs everywhere, many bugs, all the bugs.

Yah! After hearing about some scams in the past, I was worried to reenter my key. I hoped the explanation could be of use to some ;-)
