Bot suggestion: The Circle-JX3000 XL
As some may know, I am in fact sort of a programmer. In the early days I fuddled around with some bots, modifying existing bots made by several coding specialists. I simply wanted to have a possibility to autovote with a good timing those who regularly produce great content and those I really like. So the bot read out the following list and set a delay for the voting, filtered comments and set the percentage... This was ok for a while. Finally @felixxx found a perfect solution for these early days: Voting very quickly while following the vote of a manual curator. Curation rewards had been optimized. Great.
Todays needs are completely different.
So I sat down and wrote into pseudo code which requirements should be implemented in an up to date voting bot:
Blah blah bot loads requirements from the system bla bla
(bot checks incoming votes)
if incomingVote
case 1: CheckSP >= 10k SP vote back on last post with same %
case 2: CheckSP < 10k SP ignore because not worth it
(bot checks incoming comments)
if incomingComment
case 1: comment <= 1 line: upvote with 1% (to encourage spambots and vote4vote )
case 2: comment > 1 line: upvote with 1% and answer random("Nice", "THX","so true")
upvote answer with 100% for better visibility
(bot checks incoming followers)
if incomingFollower insta followback (because "feed" is the new "new")
bla bla do whatever makes sure the bot runs stable
I am sure that if a critical mass of around 50% of users will use that bot, this will create a perfect circular economy, the one promised by Steemit Inc. months ago. Also the limitation to 10 k SP holders will encourage others to invest into Steem to get into the circle and as such guarantee a stable price for all those deciding to sell some of their rewards. At need this nice bot could be adjusted to 100k or 1m to make sure we never run out of investors.
Of course the only reason I suggest this kind of bot is, because I hope to get with the rewards of this post above these 10k SP and join the circle again!
THX for reading
(nope this is not meant seriously... just in case )
I have found a better idea on streemian:
Follow a very popular author's votes there and in return get voted by them. hush hush
Lovely.....@felixxx.
I've seen that... must be the version circle-ja10000-xxl
Thank you for posting @pollux.one.
Appreciate this information....
Whoops.... it is a circle joke.....haha........no worries...someone will take your idea and run with it....as stranger things are taking place.
Glad to know.......perhaps next time you could construct the bot in such a way so that bleujay can participate.
You do know @felixxx is running for witness......right?
All the best to you and yours. Cheers.
I guess the 10k sp is too high for such a large new user base... A bit of tweaking and game theory is needed here!
I don't get the second 'if' section... why the heck do you want to encourage spam by bots with a 1% upvote!?!
Thanks for putting your brain work into this (:
Because I think it is as healthy for the steemit economy as the rest of the code ;-)
I guess serious critics on unserious topics don't work :D
Nevermind, a good and short amusement :P
Unserious criticism on serious topics is working just fine... it's called satire
Maybe I should try this next time :(
Circle never forget.
Lol - der ist gut, das hat was - da mach ich mit :-)
:- ) Good one, I'm going to start checking out the whysoserious tag you used!!
@dumar022 had this idea. I love this tag, too! I's used regularly by the Balkanos.
Cool, I just visited his blog and saw that he just became a father. Chance to say thanks to @dumar022
Great guy to follow ;-)
Okay, just followed him, awaiting a whysoserious post shortly ;-)
Oh thank goodness I read until the very end!
Had me going for a minute there. THX. ;)
