💪 Join me for the 300 Abs challenge! Ab Exercises with @polebird - DLIVE 💪

Hi dlivers! I made today's video at the request of @nomadicsoul for the exercises that I've been rotating through and to hopefully inspire you guys to to join me in the 10 day 300 Abs challenge that I have been doing!

If you read my last post, I’ve decided to keep up the 300 “abs” or core exercises past the 10 days, and I am now on day 15. I kept going because I am definitely seeing the results of having a stronger core in my daily pole practice and I’m loving it!

THE CHALLENGE:
Complete any set of 300 ab/core exercises for 10 days (within a 2 hour timeframe), MIX and MATCH as you would like! Keep going x infinity if you feel that it’s working!! If you skip a day, technically you start over. :P

To hold yourself accountable, you can make a little checklist. Once something is written down, it is more on the mind and the goal is tangible! If you happen to convince your family members or friends to join in, put them all on the same board and let the competition begin!

I’ve broken this video down in sections for each exercise. You may notice that I named and described each exercise as I thought fit, haha - I don't know the real names! Just a reminder that I am not a fitness instructor, so take it at your own pace, modify, and don’t quote me on the form! I would also love to get feedback and learn about your favorite ab or core exercise that I might have missed. I will add it into the mix of my routine if you leave me a link or make a post about it.

Don’t forget to stretch your back and workout your obliques/back as well to counter it as suggested by @nikv.

YAYYY! I sure hope so, the first few days were hardest, but once you get started and are feeling awesome about it, the motivation will definitely be there 😀 the more the merrier!!

Really good to know that you've reached to 14th day and also great to hear that many of your friends and family members are following this challenge and i hope that you are enjoying this challenge for sure. And yes, no matter what we have to continue our regular exercises because today it can be find as big task to follow all these stuff but one day or in long run these fitness days and exercises can be prove as so effective.

And you've performed this challenge effectively and i want to say that the background music is making this video more cool.

Oh well, better late than never: those exercises will turbocharge a lot of things you've been struggling with on pole but the long-term cost will be high. 300 reps is simply too many to retain good form and if you review the video, look at your head position. It's natural for the head to be in that position as the whole of the front of the body works to do those exercises. It also strengthens, shortens and tightens the muscles at the front of the neck and this will alter head position in a very short time, with your posture altering to accommodate a forward head position. Not a good state of affairs. It's not enough to balance front back and sides in that case, you need to look at doing abs exercise that keeps the head in a neutral position so I would say, back off on the 300 reps, you have already reaped the benefits that were available from it and work at an all-over routine that includes some abs. I'd say not more than 60 reps of a variety of exercises that involve the front of the body. That is plenty.
You can add in sides with 30-40 reps on each side, again, a variety and back exercise, around 30-40 and then get your hip exercise in

Ahh thank you @nikv! That definitely makes sense about the neck. I think I will take your advice and switch it up with some leg and booty day exercises too :) maybe cut it down to twice weekly abs ❤️

300!? Come on dude, I might be back in Ninja Mode but I'm not crazy! Epic effort, staggering how much core control some of your pole moves require!

🤣🤣 thank you! I’m now a believer of conditioning after trying this challenge out... haha going to try to condition specifically to improve other tricks and transitions. I used to hate doing exercise reps (a month ago)
