Hola comunidad de MUSIC FOR STEEM! ¿Cómo les va? el día de hoy dentro de mi poco conicimiento sobre musica, quiero compartir con ustedes un artista el cual descubrí recientemente y me agradó bastante, se trata de “THE KID LAROI”.

Within my little knowledge about music, I want to share with you an artist that I recently discovered and I liked a lot, it is “THE KID LAROI”.

But who is it?
Kid Laroi is an Australian rapper, songwriter and singer who started in music from the age of 13, currently at the age of 17 he is signed to the Columbia Records label and has made songs with well-known artists such as Justin Bieber, NBA Youngboy, Lil Tecca, Lil Mosey, Machine Gun Kelly and Juice WRLD, the latter became his mentor and friend to whom he would dedicate a song after he sadly passed away.

¿Cómo lo descubrí?
A The Kid LAROI lo descubrí de casualidad buscando canciones de Juice WRLD, encontré una llamada “GO”, la cual es una colaboración entre ellos dos y sinceramente me gustó bastante, en parte porque participaba Juice y por otra parte por el gran papel que hizo Kid Laroi en esa canción.

How did I find out?
I discovered The Kid LAROI by chance looking for songs by Juice WRLD, I found one called “GO”, which is a collaboration between the two of them and I honestly liked it a lot, partly because Juice participated and on the other hand because of the great role he played. Kid Laroi in that song.

Posteriormente me puse a escuchar otras de sus producciones, más específicamente el álbum completo llamado “F*CK LOVE (SAVAGE)” y me agradó mucho, las canciones que mas me gustaron fueron “Without you”, “Wrong ft. Lil Mosey”, “Tell Me Why”, “Maybe”, “GO” y otras más, el álbum es un poco largo jajaja.

Later I began to listen to other of his productions, more specifically the complete album called “F * CK LOVE (SAVAGE)” and I liked it a lot, the songs that I liked the most were “Without you”, “Wrong ft. Lil Mosey "," Tell Me Why "," Maybe "," GO "and others, the album is a bit long hahaha.

El estilo de sus canciones son un Trap Melódico con instrumentos como guitarra acústica y piano, y con letras de desamor, a mucha gente no les gusta este tipo de variante del Trap, ya que no consideran que es Trap verdadero y que el Trap solo debe hablar de la calle lo cual no es cierto, el rock tiene muchos estilos y subgéneros los cuales hablan de cosas diferentes, en mi opinión deberían dejar de decir tales cosas porque un género musical siempre está en constante evolución y eso todos lo sabemos.

The style of their songs is a Melodic Trap with instruments such as acoustic guitar and piano, and with heartbreak lyrics, many people do not like this type of variant of Trap, since they do not consider that it is true Trap and that Trap should only talk about the street which is not true, rock has many styles and subgenres which speak of different things, in my opinion they should stop saying such things because a musical genre is always in constant evolution and that is all we know.

Como he dicho anteriormente, Laroi le tenía mucho respeto a Juice WRLD, tanto que lo consideraba su mentor y tuvieron una relación amistosa bastante buena, tanto que Juice le regaló dos versos para su canción “GO”. Cuando Juice murió a causa de una sobredosis, Laroi le compuso una canción en su honor, la cual se llama “Tell Me Why” y esta habla de por qué es tan difícil decirle adiós a un ser querido y lo mucho que odia al mundo de las drogas.

As I said before, Laroi had a lot of respect for Juice WRLD, so much so that he considered him his mentor and they had a pretty good friendly relationship, so much so that Juice gave him two verses for his song “GO”. When Juice died of an overdose, Laroi wrote a song in his honor called "Tell Me Why" and it talks about why it is so difficult to say goodbye to a loved one and how much he hates the world of the drugs.

¿Por qué lo recomiendo?
A pesar de no ser muy versátil puesto que no lo he visto haciendo otros estilos que no sean Trap Melódico, creo que tiene mucho futuro y sus canciones son bastante interesantes, no todas son unas piezas musicales increíbles, pero se desenvuelve bien en lo que hace y será muy interesante verlo crecer como artista y compositor.

¿Why do I recommend it?
Despite not being very versatile since I have not seen him doing styles other than Melodic Trap, I think he has a lot of future and his songs are quite interesting, not all of them are incredible pieces of music, but he does well in what he does. and it will be very interesting to see him grow as an artist and composer.
