Welcome Pokemon and STEEMIT Community. We are excited to be recruiting dedicated STEEMIT members for the PokeSTEEM Battle League Community.

We are beginning the first season of the PokeSTEEM Battle League where contestants will have to draft the Pokemon for their team and battle against other coaches in a playoff style format leading to the ultimate PokeSTEEM Super Bowl. We will not be starting until we have received enough coaches to fill the slots so we will advertise this tournament until we have at least 8 members before June. If we are able to hit 16 very soon we will start the season earlier.

PokeSTEEM Battle League Season 1

This seasons tournament will have an entry fee of 1.0 SBD

The first 16 coaches to sign up for the tournament will be able to take part in weekly battles on Pokemon Showdown .

The league will be separated into two Conferences.

Once assigned a conference and given a schedule, players will have one week to battle the person they are scheduled to face. The person must work out a proper time to battle with their opponent, failure to schedule a battle will result in a win for the opponent. If both parties fail to report in the Comissioner(@boycharlieplays) will be forced to give both parties a draw.

To join the tournament

1. Go to the PokeSTEEM Battle League Discord Chat and post in the "coach-application" section that you are interested in becoming a coach for the league. We are looking for people who will also report on their battles, content creators that will actually post about their strategies and replays.

2. Wait for @boycharlieplays to respond to your message and send you the link for the gbaleague.com PokeSTEEM Battle League Draft. Once all the teams are made we will go here to begin drafting our Pokemon.

3. Create a logo for your Team Name make something creative that seems like a sports team. Chicopee Aegislash was a combination of @boycharlieplays' hometown and a Pokemon representing a very important item in the city(a sword).

The sooner we have teams, the sooner we can begin the season. Let's Battle Mons everybody!
