Color Challenge: Thursday Green (Alligator )
Before I move to Florida I heard tons of stories about Alligators. About their famous Alley on your way to Miami, how often they just like to surprise people on their backyards ... and how they are all around whatever you will go.
Of course with my luck on my first month I didn't had chance to see any. I even started to thinking that all those stories that my husband told me are a big fat lie. Until I went for a bike ride to visit 6 Cypress Preserve in Fort Myers ( I live 10 minutes away from that park). You are probably asking yourself "For God's sake, why would I want to find an alligator ?!" but answer is simpler that you think. I come from Poland where the most exotic or dangerous animal you can see is Wolf , Wild Pig or Bear ( and to see any of those animal you need to be born under Lucky Star!). So to capture a good shot of Alligator in nature environment was my mission number one and when I finally had a chance to do it.. I got it right!
I hope you enjoy my Thursday Green Challenge shot and follow me to see another great nature photographs! :)
Shot taken by Sony Cyber Shot Lence G .
Nice shot, I wouldn't want to go swimming in that water. Followed you
Me nether :D But he seemed to be friendly :D Thanks a lot @brevebronvan
Lovely shot! Is it a baby aligator?
I think he was young but if he was a baby.. try to tell. For my opinion he was more as a teenager. Special that he was chasing for his girlfriend in that lake! :)
He don't look none too friendly! Followed :)
Excellent work dear friend @pointtojoin congratulations on the beautiful picture
Thanks @jlufer !
Wonderful shot of that alligator, nice timing and place. I too have only seen a bear once out of captivity in the wild and few other things like coyotes and what not but to see a wild alligator not locked up in a zoo is a beautiful thing
Oh!!! Hello you wanted to see me as I heard - said alligator ;) Wow awesome close shot :) Brrr but still like it. Good work ;) upvote
