What is a logiczombie?

This is an interesting subject matter to write about. The interest lies in the name and the ambiguous meaning attributed to it. When one hears it, it brings up a question in the mind "am I a logiczombie"? or am I secretly a logiczombie and I don't even know it?.

In order to exist, human species always been fond of some ideology to cling on to feel safe. It is not what the logic is that matters, there must exist some logic for us to believe in it. Something that feels comfortable and gets the acceptance we desire from the collective.These logics come off as ideologies that have their own followers and supporters. Some complement each other and some oppose each other. It is in our nature to support something that has our interest in the long run. In addition, its a survival skill to support something that brings some form of value in the long run for the collective group. The collective decides which of the ideas are worth keeping and transferring to the next generation and which does not bring the value they can benefit from.

I believe everyone is a logiczombie in their own way, based on their experiences, their geographical locations, their religious beliefs, it doesn't matter if the ideology they cling on to is forced or chosen. They follow it and until they accept it as a truth, there is nothing any other group can do to change it, because we move as a collective. If you are a logiczombie, you probably have friends who are logiczombies like yourself. They are in your level of zombiness, because no one stays with those who contradicts their ideas for long, they stay friends with those who accept them as they are. The level of care you give your beliefs, the heavier your bias becomes when other people contradict you and that bias stays with us, it follows us. It is like a weapon that the zombies carry to protect themselves and their ideologies against the ones who want to trespass and change their beliefs.

It is our growth stage that determines the level of complexity of the ideology that we choose to believe in. The logic changes over time as we grow out of it. It is like we shed skin like a snake, when one idea doesn't work for us anymore, we throw it away and replace it with a new one that works for us and works better. So, we never stay the same zombie, the looks of the zombie and what it eats changes over time. Everything changes over time, even zombies get tired of eating meat after a while, they grow out of it and look for something that satisfy them better as they grow and taste different kinds of meat.

As time passes, the old logic of the previous generation becomes the jokes of the new generation as they try to break down the old rules and come up with their own logic. That's how we grow. We grow through eating the meat and tasting it and then throwing it away. it works like a cycle.

There is a saying that says you are what you eat and I think this fits perfectly with connecting the idea of a zombie to our powers of thought and how we have the ability to choose which meat to eat or which idea to put into our head. A zombie is always hungry, wants meat, wants brain, right?, this shows that it has a never ending desire to satisfy its thirst. We have this never unsatisfied desire to learn and grow our wisdom and when we are done with one brain, we look for another. We will always remain a zombie. Even if we ignore the fact that we are all zombies, we know deep down that we are all hunters thirsty for good meat, good brains and fresh blood. A man disproves a logic a woman has and a woman disproves the logic a man has. We are in constant battle. Who wins? no one. It is the battle that counts. Some are eaten by others and become powerful and some become the food.

When one becomes a zombie and accepts an ideology, creates a problem. This survival act on the part of the zombie, suppress a part of it that doesn't believe. It is the jester character that is suppressed in all of us. This jester character who makes fun of every ideology or the person who is a logiczombie does not have a place in the mind of a logiczombie, he needs to leave and leave immediately. So, he crawls to a dark corner, sometimes the logiczombie hear its voice and sometimes the logiczombie attacks him and make him shut up.

All these aside, the type of meat a logiczombie chooses to eat comes from its suppressed emotions, which emotions needs it determines the type of logic they cling themselves. It all comes down to their emotions. There is emotion hidden inside out logic that makes the logic more believable to us because we want ultimately to define ourselves with this logic, to show the collective that this is Us. This is the type of zombie that I am and this is the type of meat that i usually eat and I love it and I FEEL comfortable in it. I don't care if the jester is in the shadow, I don't care if he attacks me sometimes, if he bothers me, if he laugh at me, I don't care. It is what it is. It feeds my ego and the collective that I hang out with accepts it and I am accepted.

The most important thing in this matter is the providers of the meat. Who chooses what you eat? what thought should settle into your mind. It is the smartest and the most successful that start these trains of thoughts, these trends. It is the creators of each generation that feeds the soul of the collective with fresh ideas: fresh meat. This group holds the power until someone smarter brings a fresh new idea to the table and it all starts again. This happens when the previous group can not satisfy certain emotions of the collective and that will become the weak point that the new group covers and solves. This is how the providers work in the system.

Why do we have few providers? because the collective has fear of self expression. Technology and the internet can help bringing us together and understand that we are ultimately want the same thing, we want to express ourselves, our authentic self and be accepted. When the fear is gone, we wont become a zombie and the jester comes out the shadow and explores and laughs at the world. We understand that life is short and how many great ideas we can bring to the table to make it better, how we can expand our own brain instead of eating the meat brought by the providers. We become providers ourselves.
