Wine country in Washington State
My family took a trip into the Wine Country in Washington State USA and after a brief snow storm we got to the vineyard and saw the grapes growing. Beautiful mountain scenery and then in the valley you are in the fruit and wine growing region of lush countryside.
The road had just been cleared of snow so the drive was fun.
The views were spectacular as we climbed higher up.
And eventually we arrived at the vineyard to see the grapes growing, here we are looking at the Syrah grapes with Mt Rainier in the background.

Isn't Mt Rainier one of the most dangerous mountains in the world to climb. I have heard a few horror stories of climbing gone wrong.
Could be. Maybe that's why we don't hear about a lot of people climbing it! It dominates the landscape though.
Cool trip! Syrah is fine but zinfandel for zinful evenings!
