Greetings and thanks for visiting my blog! I really thank the Steemkids Community for the excellent theme they selected for the challenge. I am also eager to post and share my thoughts on technology, particularly how it has impacted the lives of our children.

This current era, as we all know, is the era of information technology. The internet has dominated our modern era. Everywhere you turn, information technology and the Internet are interconnected. We are being influenced by technology in such a way that we would be unable to function normally without it. since technology is present wherever we turn and it innovation is advancing the whole planet.

Without technology, life can become incredibly stale and boring. Although there are positive and negative effects of technology today. Imagine having to wait in line at the post office to send a message to someone who lives far away; thanks to mobile phones, this has been made simple. With just one click, we can send messages to anyone without any hassle. Technological innovation contributes to economic growth. The issue of power has been somewhat resolved thanks to technological improvement. People suffered greatly during the days when there was no electricity, but now that we have electric cookers and washing machines, these problems are easily solved.

The only way we could navigate on Steemit is thanks to technology. Without technology and the internet, we never would have developed a system that rewards users, In addition, technology is what allowed the Blockchain to be created. In the modern world, ease allows us to have everything at our fingertips. We can rapidly have the things we want, the things we want to see, and the goods we want to purchase thanks to technology, which has such a strong hold on us that we feel we cannot survive without it. We now hold the view that technology will help us advance our way of life.

Technology has many positive effects on children's lives. In fact, most schools now instruct students using educational tabs and other tech tools. Children can easily complete their homework and conduct research on topics they don't understand using the Internet, which was developed using technology. In addition, some children can even learn skills like music and digital painting thanks to technology. Online educational games and activities can assist kids develop their intellectual capacity and sharpen their strategic thinking abilities. In other words, it helps them build their problem-solving abilities. Therefore, technology has a lot of positive impacts that are crucial for kids.

The negative effects of technology on children's daily lives are numerous. Nowadays, because of technology, there are many different types of videos that children may watch and then decide they want to imitate the characters they see. This is especially true of action movies, where kids risk hurting themselves by trying to perform stunts like the actors.

Additionally, some kids are exposed to social media and have a tendency to watch films or look at images that are 18+, which could damage their mindset. Spending too much time looking at screens, such as those on smartphones and tablets, can cause vision problems and eye damage. It may result in neck, shoulder, and headache pain. Finally, spending too much time with electronics may make kids lazy, preventing them from exercising or doing their responsibilities.

In my viewpoint, technology has a really positive influence on children's lives. We are aware that technology attempts to improve humankind's quality of life. Because they have access to all they need to make learning enjoyable, today's children find education to be more exciting. They can use Google to find any information or a question's response. They don't need to go to the library to read books or do their homework because an E-library is available at home and includes all the collections. In short, I think technology has positively benefited children.

Can you have control over the exposure of kids to certain technological products? How?

Yes, you can control it. Regarding children's exposure to technology devices, parents or other adult guidance has a significant role.

First and foremost, set an example for your children. This means that you as a parent or guardian should spend less time on your laptop and mobile device. Additionally, provide the kids a timetable; this will enable them to keep track of how much time they spend using their devices. Last but not least, keep an eye on their phones and browser histories, never leave them unattended or alone, warn them about potentially dangerous websites, instruct them in the Bible, and don't forget to pray for them.
