Game & NFT - Enjin and Square Enix to Work Together on Unique NFTs

in Tron Fan Club2 years ago

If you enjoy playing video games or have ever used a video game in any way, really... Most likely, you've heard of Square Enix. They rank among the biggest gaming companies now in operation and have been around for a while. Some of the most notable games in gaming history, such Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, were created by Square Enix and are still in development. Along with the first six games, I have many happy memories of playing Final Fantasy 7. I spent an absurdly high number of hours playing Kingdom Hearts.

I couldn't help but be happy when I learned that Square Enix and Enjin were working together. These firms will be responsible for bridging the gap between traditional gaming and web-based gaming. Because of how businesses have attempted to combine blockchain and NFTs, traditional gamers appear to have a strong dislike for both.

It's not the first time a significant game firm has attempted to capitalize on the metaverse or NFTs. Without a doubt, it won't be the last either. The integration and presentation to the greater gaming community are everything. Without NFTs and blockchain, we enjoy our games just the way they are. We might just listen if you can convince us of our advantages.

It is obvious that this is not the right strategy to take if skins are sold as NFTs that can only be utilized in one game.

The user base of Square Enix, a game firm, is very devoted. With the aid of Enjin, which has been transforming the way NFTs function for a while, they are now finally diving into NFTs. Enjin, which was first developed on the Ethereum blockchain, embraced the ERC-1155 token standard, which is used by a ton of games and applications. They just began developing their Efinity platform, which is based on the Polkadot blockchain and aims to widely disseminate NFTs in a carbon-neutral manner.

A variety of physical collectibles made by Square Enix include a redeemable code for the NFT version of that object. The Efinity blockchain will host the redeemable NFTs, which are anticipated to go live sometime in 2023. Actually, the figurines are already up for pre-order on the Square Enix store, and I'm thinking I might need to get a few of these. I adore real treasures with NFTs connected, and figurines are one of my favorite types of collectibles.
